Do I need to know about horses?

No.  You do not need to have prior knowledge or experience of horses.

Students will be introduced to one of our equine partners and encouraged to participate in a variety of activities. However, interaction with the horse is NOT required.

Do you offer trial sessions?

Absolutely!

Students are encouraged to attend a free class prior to registration.

Will my student ride horses?

Over the course of the program, each participant will be slowly introduced to our equine friends. By the end of the program, students will know the fundamentals of how to groom, tack, lead and ride.

What should I bring/wear for camp? (Full week sessions)

 

 

Food: *(Camp only)

Each camper will be asked to bring a healthy bag lunch.  (Refridgerator is available) Water and juice will be provided to prevent dehydration.

Clothing:

Wear close-toed shoes and weather-appropriate attire.  Most activities will be held under shelter.

Apply and bring mosquito and gnat repellant.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Paypal, debit, or credit card payments are accepted as well as cash or personal checks.

What is the refund policy for camp?

A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a space for your camper.

If you choose to pay in full at the time of registration, you can cancel within 24 hours for a full refund.

Full payment must be received no less than 3 days prior to the first day of camp.

Refund requests will be considered.  Any/all refunds will be prorated, minus $25

 

What is the refund policy (non-camp weeks)

Refunds will be considered in a case-by-case situation. 

Any refunds issued will be pro-rated based upon the number of potential classes that month and the number of classes attended. 

 

What are the age requirements?

We offer classes for “tweens” and teens.

Tweens ages 9 – 12 years old

Teenagers ages 13 – 17 years old

Do you offer make-up sessions?

Your student can schedule a make-up class with the Director

If your student misses more than two classes due to health concerns (COVIV-19) we will work with you.

*exceptions will be considered for preplanned family vacations

Can more than one child attend?

Yes, however, we only recommend siblings in the “tween” age group attend together.

Can I register my child at any time?

All students MUST be registered before the first day of class.   If a student does not want to continue (for whatever reason, refunds are available) 

**Registration is limited to the first 12 students

 

 

Are masks required??

Masks are optional.
